A relationship with Madison allows financial intermediaries to provide their clients with a "value added" liquidity option that may not otherwise be available. Madison's liquidity program also allows financial intermediaries to provide "hold" or "sell" recommendations to their clients concerning previously illiquid investments; such an alternative can be used to facilitate tax strategies, re-structure portfolios, or obtain capital for new investments.

Madison pays referral fees to financial intermediaries in select circumstances.
