Yehuda Hecht, CPA
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Hecht serves as Chief Financial Officer with oversight of Madison’s Finance and Accounting team. His responsibilities include, financial reporting, tax structuring of investments and credit facility management. Mr. Hecht has over 12 years of finance and accounting experience. Prior to joining Madison, Mr. Hecht acted as a Regional Finance Director for Tishman Speyer Properties, responsible for the financial quality control of an office real estate portfolio valued at $4 billion. In addition, Mr. Hecht spent six years as part of the portfolio finance group at ING Clarion where his responsibilities included financial reporting and performance analysis for residential, opportunistic and value added commingled real estate funds and three years at Ernst & Young where he was a senior auditor servicing various publicly traded real estate clients. Mr. Hecht earned a BS in Accounting from Yeshiva University, Sy Syms School of Business and is a Certified Public Account.

 
Gregory Michel, CPA
Vice President of Finance & Accounting, Chief Compliance Officer

Mr. Michel serves as Vice President of Finance & Accounting and Chief Compliance Officer, where he is primarily responsible for the coordination, oversight and quality-control of all aspects of both internal and investor financial reporting for the Madison investment vehicles as well as developing and maintaining Madison's compliance program. Prior to joining Madison, he spent over seven years at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as an audit manager in the Investment Management Group. Mr. Michel managed audit engagements of investment companies, including all types of open and closed-end funds, both domestic and international, fund of funds, private equity and hedge funds. His responsibilities included maintaining a proficient working knowledge of US GAAP, Investment Company accounting and SEC reporting. Mr. Michel attended James Madison University where he earned a B.S. in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.

 

 

Jessica Fedor
Corporate Controller

Ms. Fedor serves as Corporate Controller. She is responsible for financial reporting and tax compliance for several of Madison’s private equity funds. In addition, she oversees the financial control of Madison’s management companies in both the U.S. and Germany. Prior to joining Madison International Realty, Ms. Fedor worked in Finance at CIBC within its Investment Banking division. Her main focus was to create an effective control environment and maintain financial data integrity in order to report timely and accurate financial results. Earlier in her career, Ms. Fedor spent five years at Bank of Scotland where she played a key role in budgeting, reporting, financial analysis as well as providing dealing support to the traders. Ms. Fedor received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Hofstra University.

 
Kristin Albano
Senior Fund Accountant

Ms. Albano serves as Senior Fund Accountant. She is primarily responsible for books & records maintenance, budgeting, forecasting, financial statement preparation and tax reporting for several of Madison's private equity funds. Prior to joining Madison, Ms. Albano worked at Ernst & Young, LLP in the audit practice with an industry focus on technology and communications. There, she was responsible for the coordination and management of financial statement audits. Ms. Albano also spent a year with Ernst & Young’s internal strategy group where she conducted research and analysis on markets, services, and competitors’ impact on firm strategy. Ms. Albano received her Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Accountancy from St. John’s University.

 
Jasmin Chitrakar
Senior Fund Accountant

Ms Chitrakar serves as a Senior Fund Accountant and is responsible for all aspects of books and record maintenance for the legacy funds including MILS, MILF, MIRELF II and MIRELF Special Investments.  In addition, she is also involved with budgeting, forecasting, financial statement preparation, tax reporting and due diligence for new transactions for the funds. Prior to joining Madison, she was a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young, where she planned, executed and coordinated multiple audit engagements. Her main clients at Ernst & Young included real estate private equity funds. She was also involved in reviewing and analyzing fair value of the real estate investments reported on the financial statements. She received her MBA in Accountancy from Baruch College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
