Navish K. Chawla
Portfolio Manager

Mr. Chawla serves as Portfolio Manager with responsibility for the asset management of Madison’s domestic and international investment positions. Mr. Chawla participates in all aspects of the asset and portfolio management process including oversight of Madison’s investment positions, monitoring financial performance, maintaining relationships with Madison’s counterparties, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance investment returns.  Prior to joining Madison, Mr. Chawla spent three years with BlackRock as a Senior Portfolio Analyst in the Portfolio Management Group.  While there, Mr. Chawla assisted in managing BlackRock’s core opened-ended funds totaling over $3 billion in assets. Mr. Chawla graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Finance and Economics from Rutgers University.

 
Julie H. Tran
Asset Manager

Ms. Tran serves as an Asset Manager overseeing Madison’s domestic and international investments. She supports the asset management process by monitoring the investment performance of each asset, developing recommendations for value creation, and carrying out the funds’ investment strategy. Prior to joining Madison, Ms. Tran spent four years with Prudential Real Estate Investors as an investment analyst in the Asset Management group. While there, Ms. Tran assisted in managing Prudential’s core-plus, opened-ended fund comprised of office, biotech, residential, retail and land assets across the U.S. Ms. Tran graduated with a BA in Economics from the University of California Berkeley.

 
Katie S. Ullman
Asset Manager

Mrs. Ullman serves as an Asset Manager overseeing Madison’s domestic and international investments. She supports the asset management process by monitoring investment performance, developing value creation recommendations, and implementing the funds’ investment strategy. Prior to joining Madison, Mrs. Ullman spent four years with Tishman Speyer in the portfolio and asset management groups working on global office and residential, operating and development portfolios, as well as the Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village residential investment in New York.  Previously, Mrs. Ullman worked on Citigroup's equity research team covering office REITs.  Prior to Citigroup, Mrs. Ullman worked in JPMorgan's Asset Management division working with institutional investors to determine appropriate asset allocation mixes across asset classes.  Mrs. Ullman received a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in real estate and finance.  She also passed the NASD Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 examinations.
